Application Instructions for the E-Valence Range
Cleaning Products
Listed below are the top nine automotive, marine, and aviation cleaning products from E-Valence. However, for the weekly maintenance process, all that is needed is a car wash, a wheel cleaner, and a glass cleaner. Interior glass should be cleaned every week to address microbial growth. Instant Detailer with Carnauba Wax should be used on all interior surfaces except the upholstery. Use specific interior products, especially those used for cleaning leather and synthetic leather seats and dashboards, every three months. Carpets should be cleaned with a carpet cleaner with an antimicrobial every three months. Interior and correction products will be covered in full in a separate post.

The ultimate car wash!
Lightly rinse the vehicle with clean water. Pressure rinsing is not recommended.
Add 50-75 ml of the wash concentrate into a 5-litre bucket of warm water. The warm water gets the chemistry working and will help to deliver the best result. Wash in the usual manner from the top of the vehicle down. Use a clean Microfibre Wash Mitt to wash the vehicle only. Use a separate Microfibre Wash Mitt of a different colour and a bucket of water to wash the wheels. Rinse regularly and dry off using a Luxury Drying Towel to reveal a showroom shine after the final rinse.
We recommend the 2 Bucket System at E-Valence: one bucket with wash mix and a second with clean, warm rinse water. Always rinse the Wash Mitt in the water before re-dipping in the Wash Mix. You can use a third bucket for the wheels or the car wash bucket after completing the vehicle wash. The ultimate car wash kit is available for purchase on our website.

Wash matt painted and wrapped cars only with E-Valence Car Wash for Matt Painted and Wrapped Cars. This specially formulated cleaning product will not affect the look of the wrap, nor will it penetrate the sealant used to adhere the wrap to the surface.

Instant Detailer with Carnauba Wax
The Ultimate Final Finish!
Instant Detailer is best used when preparing at a Concour, as an alternative when water is unavailable, or when the vehicle is slightly dusty. This product will clean paint, glass, and chrome. Instant Detailer may be used to clean internal surfaces, including painted and wooden surfaces such as the dashboard, and door trims. Containing grade 1 carnauba wax, you will be thoroughly delighted with the results you achieved with this product. Spray over the surface and wipe in one direction using a 270-330 GSM Microfibre Cloth. (Because this is a water-based product and our triggers are fine mist professional triggers, it is best to wipe wide in the drying process, thus avoiding overspray). Wipe dry with two cloths for best results.
Instant Detailer with Carnauba Wax is the ultimate in a final finish, quick detailer, or general-purpose cleaner.
Dry Wash with Carnauba Wax is best used as an alternative when water is unavailable. It is a low-grade instant detailer. Accordingly, the instructions are the same.
This product will clean paint, glass, and chrome. Instant Detailer should be used to clean internal surfaces, including painted and wooden surfaces, such as the dashboard, and door trims. Containing grade 1 carnauba wax, you will be thoroughly delighted with the results you achieved with this product. Spray over the surface and wipe in one direction using a 270-330 GSM Microfibre Cloth. (Because this is a water-based product and our triggers are fine mist professional triggers, it is best to wipe wide in the drying process, thus avoiding overspray).
Wipe dry with two cloths for best results.
Remove acid rain and other industrial contaminants with Clay Mitt Lubricant. The formulation will chemically neutralise this form of soiling, allowing the Wash Mitt to glide over the surface, lifting the impurity in the process.
Thoroughly rinse the vehicle first, then spray Clay Mitt Lubricant over the surface a section at a time. Keeping the surface wet, allow the chemical process to work for at least one minute before gliding the Clay Mitt over the selected area. Repeat as often as necessary till the surface roughness has completely disappeared. Rinse off after completing each section. Finish off by washing the vehicle with Wash’n Seal with Carnauba Wax using the abovementioned process.
The clay mitt process is a more efficient way of removing environmental fallout and is without doubt more effective than using a clay bar.
Carpet Cleaner with Antimicrobial -UV Stable
This product contains a UV Inhibitor, providing extra protection from the sun’s harmful rays.
Is specially formulated to gently agitate and remove dirt and microbial growth from the carpet. Leaving the carpet in a near-new condition with antimicrobial and UV protection protection.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpet first. Shake the bottle before use. Apply evenly over the surface to be cleaned and leave for about 60 seconds (depending on the carpet’s condition). Agitate with a soft brush or sponge. Wipe over several times with a clean, moist microfibre cloth and allow to dry.

As the name implies, this is the ultimate Traffic Film Remover.
Depending on the condition, spray onto the affected surface, wait 15 to 45 seconds, and then wipe off with a damp microfibre cloth.
When motor racing, it’s best to clean the tar and rubber off at the end of the day. Leaving racetrack contaminants on the vehicle for extended periods will make them harder to remove. A couple of Tar Rubber and Bug Remover applications will do the job. Most importantly, this product will not affect signage and other wrappings and will not affect ceramic-based coatings on cars, boats, or bikes.

pH Neutral Alloy & Wire Wheel Cleaner
The Ultimate Eco Friendly Wheel Cleaner and protector!
Most of the alloy wheel cleaners on the market comprise aggressive acids and alkalis. pH Neutral Alloy & Wire Wheel Cleaner uses soft, non-aggressive chemicals to clean and protect alloy, painted, chrome, and stainless steel mag and wire wheels. Spray onto a cold wheel and leave for about 2-3 minutes. Use a soft brush or dedicated wash mitt to agitate the surface, rinse off to finish.
The product performs brilliantly on modern alloy wheels prone to heavy carbon build-up. The wheel cleaner leaves a protective coating lasting 6-8 weeks. When cleaning the vehicle next time, you will only need to jet-wash the alloy wheels. Additionally, given the formulation, you will not leave acid build-up within the rims of wire wheels, reducing potential rust build-up on the inner rim.

Glass Cleaner with Anti-Fog & Antimicrobial
More than just a glass cleaner, this product will kill 99.9% of microbial growth on any glass surface, including the internal side of the windscreen. Also included, is an anti-fogging agent to assist those of us driving old cars. Glass Cleaner with Anti-Fogg & Antimicrobial is a water-based, solvent-free application; wiping over several times during drying may be necessary particularly in cold weather. E-Valence recommends using two cloths when drying any glass surface. (220 GSM microfibre cloths are best)
Perfect Product Combinations
Many competitive products claim that Carnauba Wax only protects a vehicle’s paint for three to six weeks. There may be many reasons for this. The percentage of Carnauba Wax in the wax product is minimal. A high level of silicone may be in the formulation to give the appearance of high grade wax. And, in some cases the formulation is of such a low grade, the wax (if there is any) won’t adhere to the surface. The most common reason is that “low-grade” wash products are used to wash the surface after waxing. If a car, boat or aircraft wash is formulated using high aggressive alkaline combinations, they will strip the wax off the surface. This may results in a quick “flashy” wash, though in the end is counterproductive. Products containing silicone will attract dirt after a few days reducing the shine to a dull almost matt look. Silicone in tyre dressings may ultimately form a brown stain over the tyre surface.
Formulated from the same chemical family, all of the E-Valence ranges combine well, ensuring that the benefits of each product are maintained. Wash’n Seal with Carnauba Wax, Instant Detailer with Carnauba Wax, Tar Rubber and Bug Remover, and Preeminent 50% Carnauba Wax are four such products. Once cleaned and waxed, the vehicle surface may be maintained using Wash’n Seal or Instant Detailer. Parasite splash, tar, and rubber marks may also be removed using Tar, Rubber and Bug Remover without seriously reducing the protective benefits of Preeminent 50% Carnauba Wax. Though it Preeminent 50% Carnauba Wax or APD have been applied to the surface, most bugs will wash off with water.
